Crumbed Cray Nuggets

Crumbed Cray Nuggets recipe.

Fabulous finger food for any occasion.

1 average sized Lobster tail will make about 24 bite sized nuggets.

Ingredient List:

  • 2 cups fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • half cup plain flour
  • half cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbspns finely chopped parsley
  • sea salt
  • lemon pepper
  • 1 cup good olive oil


  1. Remove meat from Lobster shell, cut into bite sized pieces.
  2. Lightly crumb by dusting in flour, egg wash and then into a mix of fresh breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, sea salt and a sprinkle of lemon pepper.
  3. On your BBQ or hotplate, place a small saucepan with enough good olive oil to fry.
  4. Heat to medium then cook the nuggets until golden brown. (Do not overcrowd the pot – cook in batches.)
  5. Drain on absorbent kitchen paper and eat.
